Nodus Technologies Launches Tokenization for Credit Card Processing
Nodus leverages their relationship with PayPal’s Payflow gateway to develop their Tokenization technology by utilizing PayPal’s Payflow’s highly secured infrastructure for the storage of critical credit card information. The PCI Data Security Council, which was form by major credit card companies, adopted the Payment Application Best Practices (PABP) from Visa security initiatives, and mandate that all electronic payment applications with credit card processing MUST meet PA-DSS (Payment Application – Data Security Standards) to guard against cyber data thefts.
